An interesting twist has occurred in the preparations for the 2015 elections in Lagos as one-time contestant, Jimi Agbaje has reportedly been fielded by the country's ruling party.
Reports have it that former Lagos
governorship candidate, Jimi Agbaje is again joining the race but this
time on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
Agbaje first contested in 2007 on the platform of the Democratic Peoples Alliance but lost to the incumbent governor, Babatunde Raji Fashola.
He is said to have declared his intention to run as the PDP candidate after a tour of the 57 Local councils in the state.
Agbaje is perceived by many as the strongest candidate to take over from Fashola who will be leaving office in 2015.
