2 Judges Caught Having Sex In Courthouse

The judges didn’t lose their jobs but they were named and disciplined for the act

Two judges in California have been sanctioned after they were accused of having sex in their respective chambers.

According to the Mirror, Scott Steiner and Cory Woodward were said to have both indulged in sex acts with different women.

Woodward slept with a married court clerk in his chambers and Steiner also had sex with a woman in a courthouse.

The judges got to keep their jobs but they were both publicly censured after being tried before a panel known as a Commission on Judicial Performance, the Los Angeles Times reports.

A man in Lagos has been arrested after he abandoned his proposed bride and stole her money.

45-year old Uzor Emmanuel is alleged to have duped one Victoria Adeleye of N4 million and then left her at the Ikoyi Marriage Registry where they were scheduled to wed.

Emmanuel, who is married with 3 kids, told the police that he only wanted the victim for her money and was never interested in marrying her.

He has been charged with obtaining under false pretenses and stealing before an Isolo Magistrate court.

A widow and three men were arrested for committing armed robbery in Lagos

 

The police in Lagos have arrested members of a robbery gang which include a widow and three men.

Sera Emmanuel, Ismaila Morufu , Musaalobi Abdullahi and Opeyemi Akinyemi  have been accused of robbing motorists along the Mile2/Badagry Expressway.

According to The Nation, the 4 suspects were apprehended along the Sango-Ifo road by Iyana-Iyesi in Ogun state.

Sera Emmanuel, the widow, allegedly confessed to the crime saying:

“I buy guns for the gang and it was Ismaila that gave me money to buy guns for the gang. I went to Idiroko and bought two guns at N15, 000 each for the gang. They gave me only N25, 000 and N6, 000 for transport. I will not buy for them again"

The arrest of the gang members was confirmed by the Lagos state Deputy Police Public Relations Officer, Lelma Kolle.

 

Ebola Patient Thrown Inside Truck After Escaping

The man who is believed to be an Ebola patient tried to escape but was bundled into a quarantine truck

 A video has emerged from Liberia showing the terrifying moment an Ebola patient escaped from a truck which was taking him to quarantine.

The patient is then recaptured by men wearing protective suits who bundle him back into the truck.

Ebola is extremely contagious and has killed over one thousand people in West Africa since March.

Big Brother Africa House Burns, Show Postponed

The Big Brother Africa Hotshots show was scheduled to begin on Sunday, September 7, 2014 but has now been postponed indefinitely

Big Brother Africa Hotshots will not start on Sunday as planned due to a fire incident in the BBA house.

The show was due to start on September 7 at the Sesani Studios in Johannesburg, South Africa but has now been suspended indefinitely.

According to an M-Net press release

"M-Net and Endemol SA advise that due to a devastating fire at the Big Brother house on 2 September 2014, Big Brother Hotshots will not launch this Sunday (7 September) as scheduled. The cause of the fire at this stage is unknown and investigations will commence as soon as it is safe to do so."

At this stage M-Net and Endemol are urgently looking for an alternative Big Brother house in which to film the production, however as this production has highly technical infrastructure, camera and edit requirements an alternative is not immediately available.

  Every effort will be made to find a solution as quickly as possible to ensure that Africa’s biggest reality show will continue.”

There were no casualties recorded from the incident.

Olalekan Ajibola told the police that he uses only an axe to commit robbery

 

The police in Lagos have arrested a robbery suspect who is believed to operate around the Mushin axis of the state.

Olalekan Ajibola was reportedly caught trying to break into a home in the area with an axe. He was arrested after residents raised an alarm and called the police.

Ajibola allegedly confessed to the police that an axe is his only weapon of choice.

He said:
 “I learnt to rob while in Oyingbo. When I go out for operations, I carry my axe. I have operated with it on five different occasions. When I enter houses, I ask people for money, phones and other valuables. If they resist, I will hack them with the axe. I use the axe for cutting victims who resist.”
 “I was brought up in a hard way. That is why I also don’t dress well. I rob in order to survive. I eat at any restaurant I find myself. I sneak in and out of them to have my meals.

The suspect also said that he was forced into a life of crime after his mother became mentally ill and his father abandoned him.

 the police in Edo have arrested a young man who allegedly stabbed and killed his own father.

25-year-old Best Momodu reportedly confessed that he had murdered his father in anger after they quarreled over a cigarette he had stolen.

He said:
“I stole his cigarette and he found out. So he started shouting at me and quarrelling. So, mistakenly I took a knife and stabbed him. I have not seen the dead body but I heard he died. But the community people arrested me after I killed him.”

Best and 62 other people accused of different crimes were paraded by the state Commissioner of Police, Foluso Adebanjo.

Meet The Diplomat Who Took Ebola To Port Harcourt

Olu-Ibukun Koye fled quarantine in Lagos and infected a Port Harcourt doctor with Ebola

 The official of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) who took Ebola to Port Harcourt has been identified as Olu-Ibukun Koye.

Koye made contact with index case, Patrick Sawyer but later fled quarantine despite showing symptoms of the disease.

He travelled to Port Harcourt where he hired Dr. Iyke Samuel Enemuo to treat him at Mandate Hotel.
Koye recovered from the disease and returned to Lagos where he was given a clean bill of health but Dr. Enemuo died on Friday, August 22, 2014.

the truth only came out when the diplomat heard of the doctor’s demise and then confessed that he had travelled to Port Harcourt.

Enemuo’s wife and child have been quarantined and about 200 people have also been placed under observation.

Reports have it that Koye might face charges of manslaughter for his actions which led to Enemuo’s death.

Human Parts Possession Isn’t A Crime- Suspect Opens Up

The suspects were arrested for being in possession of human parts  

  The police in Lagos have arrested two citizens of the Republic of Benin for being in possession of human parts.

One of the suspects, Djassau Gerard was caught trying to enter Nigeria with a human skull.
He confessed and led police to his accomplice, Sessou Djiman, a native doctor at Owode area of

Ogun State.

Djassau said:

"There is nothing wrong in one going about with human parts in our country. In fact, when someone is believed to have been struck dead by thunder, the body will not be buried, because it is a taboo.

The corpse will be taken to the home of a traditionalist. The traditionalist or native doctor keeps the corpse, allows it to decompose and then dries it.

Thereafter, anybody who is interested in any of the parts will come for it without any payment,"

"It was through a native doctor that I met Djiman and discovered that he has more powers. I returned to Nigeria to meet him for more power,"

The skull was found hidden in a bag by the police during a routine stop and search operation.

Hotel Workers Post Customers’ Sex Session On Facebook

The three employees used the hotel’s CCTV to record two lovers in the act

Three hotel workers in Lagos have been arrested and charged to court after they allegedly recorded 2 customers having sex.

The employees, identified as Sunday Okon, Rita Emmanuel and Goodness Akpan, were accused of using the hotel’s CCTV to record a customer having sex with his girlfriend.

The suspects then demanded N10 million from the man and threatened to put the video up on Facebook.

The accused then put the video on a VCD and circulated it and they eventually carried out their threat to post it on Facebook.

The trio have been charged with fraud, demanding property with menace, conspiracy and indecent practices.
