The end of the road has come for 2 men in Abia after they were caught with the dead body of a young child.
Jonathan Nwogu and Chibuike Anubuife were arrested by officers of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) while they were trying to put the 3-year-old girl’s body in a sack.
The duo, who were almost lynched by irate bystanders, both alleged that they had been asked to bury the child.
The incident is said to have occurred near the Ariaria International market area of Aba, the state capital on Wednesday.
The deceased child is yet to be identified and the suspects have been handed over to the police for questioning.
