Senate President, David Mark ‘Slapped’ In National Assembly

Mark arrived the lower chamber in a bid to restore calm but was accosted by a legislator who grabbed him and slapped him on the chest.

The chaos which erupted in the National Assembly on Thursday, November 20 led to an assault on Senate President, David Mark.

Mark arrived the lower chamber in a bid to restore calm but was accosted by a legislator who grabbed him and slapped him on the chest.

The president was eventually able to escape the angry legislators and proceeded into the building to sue for peace.
