Rafel Ngbobile died while he was in a scuffle with his neighbour in Kirikiri Town, Lagos
A 60 year old man Rafel Ngbobile met his doom while he was fighting with his neighbour, Sunday Orochendo.
The
incident occurred on Saturday, November 1, at 30 Magbesa Street in
Kirikiri Town, Lagos where they reside. The incident according to Vanguard started when the deceased had a quarrel with his neighbour’s wife over a yet to be established issue.
After
the row, the wife through the phone reported the incident to her
husband Sunday Orochendo who on his return, engaged his neighbour in a
fight which left the neighbour dead. Vanguard reports that eyewitness revealed that during the fight, Orochendo pushed Ngbobile, who slumped and died.
The
50-year-old Sunday Orochendo was thereafter picked up by the police but
his wife was nowhere to be found and still on the run.
Lagos State Police Command spokesman, Ken Nwosu
have also confirmed the case and further revealed that the deceased was
pronounced dead at a private hospital while the suspect was picked up
by men from the Kirikiri Police Division.
The case
has been transferred to the Homicide section of the State Criminal
Investigations Department, SCID, Panti, Yaba, Lagos, for further
investigations.
