A female suicide bomber detonated an explosive at the entrance to the Federal College of Education library before she could reach her target.
The explosion which occurred in Kontagora, Niger State yesterday, November 12, has reportedly claimed 10 lives and left 4 people injured.

Eyewitnesses have said that at least 10 people lost their lives in the attack but the police spokesperson for the state, Ibrahim Gambari claims that only the bomber died.
He told AFP:
“An
unidentified suicide bomber blew herself up before she could reach her
target, which was the school library where many students were reading
for their exams,”
Meanwhile the nation is still reeling from a bomb blast which claimed the lives of 48 students in Potiskum, Yobe state.
